Dropdown Puzzle

These puzzles are sometimes called droplines or quotefalls. Fill in the squares with the letters found in the column in the top part of the diagram. When correctly filled out you will see a quote.

  1. There is a mistake in this image that makes the puzzle impossible to solve as shown; the "T" in the second column should be in the third! With that change, the solution is:

    "Not only is the universe strangeer than we imagine, it is stranger than we can imagine. Sir Arthur Eddington."

  2. There are a couple of these (which I call Fit the Quote puzzles) on my puzzle site. All my puzzles are original, not found anywhere else.

    Here's one and a harder one. The answers are in the comments, so don't look until you're done!
